Privacy Policy

Nigh keeps your countdown dates on your iPhone. We do not run an account system, and we do not operate a server that receives your events.

What stays on your device

If you create a countdown, Nigh stores its title and date in a local JSON file in the app’s shared container, so the Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets can read the same list. The app also stores a local flag for whether you have unlocked more dates, and whether you have already seen the widget hint. This data does not leave your device through Nigh.

What we do not collect

Nigh does not ask you to sign in. It does not use analytics, advertising identifiers, crash reporters, or other tracking SDKs. It does not sync to iCloud or to any service we run. Deleting the app removes the local countdown file from that device.

Purchases

Optional unlock is a one-time In-App Purchase processed by Apple. Apple handles payment, receipts, and Restore Purchases. We do not receive your card details. Apple’s handling of that information is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Children

Nigh is a general utility. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
